Dr. Paul Kuo

Dr. Paul Kuo is a highly qualified Consultant Gastroenterologist who provides comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services for patients experiencing digestive system disorders. With a strong clinical focus on oesophageal function testing and gastroduodenal motility, Dr. Kuo is dedicated to delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care. He works closely with individuals to investigate and manage complex gastrointestinal symptoms, ensuring they receive clear, reassuring guidance throughout their medical journey.

Dr. Kuo completed his medical degree and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at The University of Adelaide, with his doctoral research focusing on gastroduodenal motility and postprandial nutrient absorption. To further refine his clinical expertise, he undertook advanced Fellowship training at a leading hospital in London, United Kingdom, where he specialised in oesophageal motility and reflux testing. Dr. Kuo is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and an active member of the Gastroenterology Society of Australia (GESA).

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Kuo is deeply committed to medical research and education. He has contributed extensively to the scientific community, having published numerous peer-reviewed papers and book chapters on gastroenterology and motility disorders. Dr. Kuo also dedicates his time to mentoring Junior Doctors and continues to engage in clinical research to help advance the field of digestive health, ensuring his patients benefit from the latest medical insights.
