Dr Jeevinesh Naidu

Dr Jeevinesh Naidu is an expert interventional endoscopist specialising in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal endoscopy. He is particularly focused on providing rapid access to procedures, especially for urgent conditions such as pancreatic cancer diagnosis and bile duct stones, with a commitment to minimising delays in patient care.

He works closely with multidisciplinary gastroenterology, oncology, and surgical teams to provide coordinated and timely treatment pathways. Through this collaborative approach, he facilitates rapid inpatient procedures within 48 hours and outpatient procedures within seven days where clinically appropriate.

Dr Naidu specialises in minimally invasive endoscopic treatments that avoid external surgical incisions, aiming to achieve effective outcomes with reduced recovery times for patients. He has extensive procedural experience, having performed more than 1,000 Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) procedures and over 1,000 ERCP procedures throughout his career.

His public appointment is as Head of Endoscopic Services at Queen Elizabeth Hospital within the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN). He also serves on the Medical Advisory Committee at Calvary Adelaide Hospital and the Perioperative Services Committee at Calvary North Adelaide Hospital.

His specialist expertise includes Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), ERCP, SpyGlass cholangioscopy and pancreatoscopy, large polyp resection using endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR), small bowel enteroscopy including single and double balloon techniques, altered anatomy ERCP, diagnostic endoscopy, and colonoscopy.
