Dr Nicholas Redgrave

Dr Nicholas Redgrave is a highly qualified Urologist with over three decades of experience in the field. He completed his basic medical and surgical training in Melbourne in 1985 and was awarded the TF Ryan Medal in Clinical Medicine. Later, he completed a Master of Surgery after a year of performing microsurgery and writing a thesis on kidney transplantation. In 1993, he completed his Urological surgery training and received the Keith Kirkland prize in Urology.

Dr Redgrave then pursued advanced training in Reconstructive Urology and Andrology as a fellow at the Institute of Urology in London, before returning to Melbourne to commence practice at Bayside Urology and join Monash Medical Centre as a consultant urologist in 1995. He is highly experienced in managing urological cancers, with particular expertise in prostate cancer surgery. He also has vast experience in microsurgical vasectomy reversals and local anaesthetic vasectomies.

Dr Redgrave is an esteemed member of several professional organisations, including the Urology Society of Australasia, the American Urological Association, and the Australian Medical Association. He has also served on the Medical Advisory Board at Como Hospital for over ten years. Additionally, he has played an active role in urological training, serving on the Victorian Urological Training, Accreditation, and Education Committee for six years and maintaining his involvement in this area.

Dr Redgrave's areas of special interest include urological cancers, especially prostate cancer surgery, and general urology. He is highly respected in his field and is committed to providing his patients with the best possible care.
