Dr Philip Dundee is a high-volume urological surgeon with extensive expertise in oncology procedures and robotic surgery for prostate, kidney, and bladder conditions. He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Melbourne in 2000 and went on to achieve Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2012.
Dr Dundee is a recognised leader in robotic urology and currently serves as Director of Robotic Training at The Royal Melbourne Hospital. In this role, he leads an internationally respected programme that attracts surgeons from across the globe for advanced fellowship training. His clinical practice includes complex procedures such as Retzius-sparing radical prostatectomy, robotic simple prostatectomy, robotic cystectomy for advanced bladder cancer with neobladder reconstruction, and robotic surgery for kidney cancer.
Alongside his surgical work, Dr Dundee is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Melbourne and is actively involved in clinical research focusing on prostate, bladder, and kidney cancers. He regularly presents his work at national and international conferences. Committed to education, he is also a faculty member at the International Medical Robotics Academy, contributing to the advancement of robotic surgical training worldwide.
