Dr Neroli Ngenda

Dr Neroli Ngenda is a highly respected and compassionate Gynaecologist and Obstetrician who is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centred care. With a deep understanding that every stage of a woman's life brings unique experiences and changing health needs, she focuses on delivering personalised treatment in a supportive and respectful environment. Dr Ngenda adopts a patient-first approach, taking the time to listen carefully to her patients' concerns and empowering them to make informed decisions throughout their healthcare journey.

Her clinical expertise spans a broad range of women's health services, with a particular interest in vulvovaginal conditions, general gynaecology, and fertility care. Dr Ngenda is highly skilled in managing complex concerns such as abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, menopause, perimenopause, prolapse, and incontinence. Additionally, she is experienced in performing advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries, including laparoscopic adnexal procedures, ovarian cystectomies, and treatments for ectopic pregnancies. Her dedication to the field is further demonstrated by her work in establishing specialised clinics for vulval diseases.

Dr Ngenda completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Queensland in 1991. She undertook her specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology at a major tertiary hospital in Brisbane, during which she also provided essential care to women in rural and remote areas of Queensland. She became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2001, having previously obtained a Diploma of Obstetrics in 1995. To further her expertise, she obtained a Certificate in Fertility Regulation in 1994 and a Certificate in Reproductive Medicine from the University of New South Wales in 2018. Dr Ngenda is an active member of the Australian and New Zealand Vulvovaginal Society and contributes to the education of future medical professionals as a Senior Clinical Lecturer.
