Dr Michael Jones

Dr Michael Jones is a Consultant Cardiac Electrophysiologist with expertise in all areas of cardiac electrophysiology and cardiac device implantation. He completed his medical degree at the University of Melbourne in 1997 and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. He completed his advanced cardiology training at the Monash Medical Centre in Melbourne and St Vincent's Hospital in Sydney. He later completed his subspecialty training in cardiac electrophysiology and cardiac device implantation at the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Canada and the John Radcliffe Hospital in the United Kingdom.

Dr Jones consults at HeartWest Hoppers Crossing, St Albans, Essendon, Sunbury and Roxburgh Park. He also performs procedures at Epworth Hospital and Western Private Hospital.

Dr Jones has clinical expertise in complex ablation for atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia and has completed clinical research studies surrounding cardiac resynchronisation therapy and ablation.
