Supportive, thorough, and current knowledge of research around endometriosis. Gave several options for treatment approaches and was transparent about surgical recovery.

I felt that I was in the safe hands of an expert at the top of his field and I would recommend Prof Cooper to women in my situation. My surgery and recovery went smoothly thanks to Prof Cooper. My only critical feedback is that I did feel that Prof Cooper was only focused on the Endometriosis and that some of his post-surgery advice didn't take into account the realities of everyday life. Eg. getting pregnant isn't a real solution for endometriosis for a young person in a cost-of-living crisis, and the pill, while effective for endo, can cause a raft of other symptoms. I understand that these are the options but I would have appreciated some acknowledgement that they are deeply imperfect.

Professor Cooper is very thorough, professional and precise. Don’t be put off by his silence when you first sit down. He reads your portfolio thoroughly before he begins. His assistant, Kathy, is first point of contact on phone and on arrival. She has a beautiful approach. She is very sincere, calming and knowledgeable. Finding a great gynaecologist is very daunting. I’m so thankful I found Prof Michael Cooper.

I appreciate that your first agenda was to greet us and introduce yourself. When you were reviewing and writing my medical history I was a bit confused why you havent pre read before hand but it made more sense to do it while we are there so you can also confirm with me while reviewing it.
