Dr Marcela Martin

Dr Marcela Martin is a Fertility Specialist providing conception advice, gynaecological care, and assisted reproductive treatments, including in vitro fertilisation (IVF). She supports patients across a range of fertility and reproductive health concerns, offering assessment, investigation, and treatment tailored to individual clinical circumstances.

Dr Martin grew up in Wollongong, New South Wales, and completed her medical degree at the University of Sydney. She undertook specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology at several NSW hospitals, including St George Hospital, Sutherland Hospital, and the Royal Hospital for Women. During her specialist training, she completed additional subspecialty training in reproductive medicine.

She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and also holds an Honours degree in Genetics and a Master’s degree in Reproductive Medicine from the University of New South Wales.

Dr Martin is part of the IVF Australia group and performs IVF procedures for her own patients, working closely with embryologists, scientists, and specialist nursing teams. She is actively involved in medical education, lecturing in reproductive medicine at UNSW, and is a founding member of DART, an educational association affiliated with the Fertility Society of Australia and New Zealand.
