Dr Melissa Cave

Dr Melissa Cave is a warm and reassuring General Practitioner who is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. She is known for her attentive listening and her ability to create a relaxed, welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable discussing their health concerns. Dr Cave strongly believes in the importance of informed choice, working collaboratively with her patients to help them make confident decisions about their health and well-being.

With a diverse clinical background, Dr Cave has a special interest in women's health, sexual health, and contraceptive services. Having worked as a Midwife before pursuing her medical degree, she brings a unique depth of understanding and empathy to caring for women through all stages of life. She is particularly passionate about menopause and perimenopause care, focusing on bridging the information gap to provide evidence-based support, alongside offering antenatal shared care.

Dr Cave completed her medical education in the United Kingdom, qualifying as a doctor in 2008. She went on to complete her specialist postgraduate training, obtaining her qualification as a General Practitioner in 2013. After relocating to Australia in 2014, she has continued to provide comprehensive primary care, combining her clinical expertise with a compassionate, holistic approach to patient health.
