Dr Margit Polcz

Dr Margit Polcz is a highly qualified and dedicated Dermatologist who provides comprehensive care for a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions. Dr Polcz has a particular interest in the early detection and management of skin cancers, as well as inflammatory skin conditions, ensuring her patients receive the highest standard of dermatological care.

Dr Polcz began her academic journey by completing a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and Cell Biology at McGill University. She went on to earn her medical degree, a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, from the University of Queensland in 2009. Demonstrating her commitment to advanced education, she obtained a Master of Medicine in Skin Cancer from the University of Queensland in 2014. Dr Polcz completed her specialist dermatology training across several leading tertiary hospitals in New South Wales. She is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists and a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, reflecting her broad medical expertise.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Polcz is actively involved in medical education and research. She serves as a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sydney, where she contributes to training the next generation of medical professionals. Before undertaking her specialist training, she worked as a General Practitioner and participated in numerous clinical trials investigating novel treatments for inflammatory skin diseases and skin cancers.
