Dr Lucy Goold is a highly qualified Ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care services in Launceston, Australia. Her clinical practice encompasses general Ophthalmology, with a particular interest in cataract surgery, medical retina, and uveitis. Additionally, Dr Goold has advanced expertise in oculoplastic, lacrimal, and orbital surgery, as well as the management of thyroid eye disease. Dr Goold completed her medical training at the University of Sydney, where she obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. She subsequently completed a Master of Medicine in Ophthalmology whilst working as an Ophthalmology Registrar in Newcastle, before relocating to South Australia for her formal Ophthalmology training. To further refine her skills, she undertook a prestigious Oculoplastics and Orbit fellowship at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. Dr Goold is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists and a member of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Ophthalmic Plastic Surgeons.
