Dr Linda Yang

Dr Linda Yang is a dedicated Gastroenterologist, Endoscopist, and Clinician-Researcher who provides comprehensive and compassionate care for patients with digestive health conditions. She has a strong clinical focus on inflammatory bowel disease, functional gut disorders, and the application of artificial intelligence in endoscopy. Dr Yang is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care, ensuring that her patients receive contemporary and tailored treatment plans for their gastrointestinal concerns.

Dr Yang completed her undergraduate medical training with honours, earning a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS Hons) alongside a Bachelor of Medical Science (BMedSci). She undertook her specialist training in gastroenterology and completed post-fellowship training in advanced endoscopy and inflammatory bowel disease. Dr Yang is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) focusing on endoscopic quality and artificial intelligence. She is also actively involved in academic medicine as a Senior Lecturer and has contributed significantly to clinical research, including serving as the lead author for national position statements on upper gastrointestinal endoscopy quality.

In her clinical practice, Dr Yang offers expertise in a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. She subspecialises in advanced endoscopic techniques, including endoscopic Barrett's therapy, double balloon enteroscopy, and endoscopic resections. Her clinical interests also encompass bowel cancer screening, capsule endoscopy, and the management of complex conditions such as Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, and irritable bowel syndrome. Through her collaborative approach, she works closely with multidisciplinary teams to support patients throughout their treatment journey.
