Dr Lin Zhang

Dr Lin Zhang is a neurologist who works within the Neurology Network Melbourne as well as Alfred Health. She is specially trained in headache medicine and has particular expertise in the management of complex headache and migraine conditions. Dr Zhang is passionate about improving outcomes for headache patients and she is actively involved in the Australia New Zealand Headache Society where she is currently researching the specialised management of headache conditions. Dr Zhang also has subspecialty training in movement disorders and is able to treat symptoms such as cervical dystonia using injectable treatments.

First graduating in 1997 from Shanxi Medical College, Dr Zhang went on to complete her AMC Certificate from the Australian Medical Council in 2007. She spend time training in advanced neurology at Wollongong Hospital and St George's Hospital, Sydney, before achieving her membership into the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2018.
