About Dr Casey Linton
Dr. Casey Linton is a Consultant Neurologist and Neurophysiologist with subspecialty expertise in neurophysiology, neuroimmunology, and neuromuscular disorders. She completed her medical degree at the University of Queensland and earned a PhD in neuroscience from the Queensland Brain Institute in 2017, focusing on the mechanisms of nerve regeneration.
Dr. Linton undertook her neurology training across multiple centres, including Eastern Health in Melbourne, as well as in Hobart and Launceston. She completed her subspecialty fellowship at the Royal Hobart Hospital and has achieved ANZAN Level 2 certification in clinical neurophysiology.
She regularly travels from Hobart to conduct nerve conduction studies at Precision Health, with a clinical focus on the timely electrodiagnosis of peripheral nerve disorders. She has a particular interest in upper limb nerve conditions, such as carpal tunnel syndrome, especially those that may benefit from surgical intervention.
Dr. Linton is currently accepting referrals for diagnostic nerve conduction studies and clinical assessment of carpal tunnel syndrome.
