Dr Laurence Webber

Dr Laurence Webber is a highly skilled Specialist General Surgeon with a dedicated focus on hepatopancreaticobiliary and upper gastrointestinal surgery. He is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centred care, utilising advanced minimally invasive techniques to achieve the best possible outcomes. Dr Webber specialises in laparoscopic and robotic procedures, offering modern surgical solutions for complex abdominal conditions. His clinical practice encompasses a wide range of general surgical procedures, with a particular emphasis on gallbladder, liver, and pancreas surgery.

Dr Webber completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honours at the University of Western Australia in 2006. He went on to complete rigorous specialist surgical training, earning his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in General Surgery in 2013. Following this, he undertook extensive post-fellowship training, including dedicated subspecialty training in hepatopancreaticobiliary surgery across major tertiary hospitals in Australia. He also completed international visiting observerships at renowned global medical institutions to further refine his expertise in advanced surgical oncology and robotic techniques.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Webber is actively involved in surgical education and professional standards.
