Dr Suthananthan was very approachable, and communicated things clearly. I felt like I was in good hands. I was very happy with the robotic surgery and the results so far.

I went to see Dr Suthananthan for a second opinion (intial consultation said my surgery was too hard), he spent a lot of time explaining my condition and made it clear to me what needed to happen next. He performed surgery on me and did such an amazing job! i am now pain free thanks to Dr Suthananthan. Best gallbladder surgeon in my mind!
An extremely thorough and efficient surgeon who took exceptional care in managing a complicated gallbladder removal. The level of professionalism and attention to detail was outstanding. Highly recommended.
Dr Arul Suthananthan explained things in a way that was clear and made sure that I understood every possibility. He took the time to allow me to think about my options which I really appreciated. He is a man of his word and extremely reliable. I highly recommend him

He has now returned to WA after extensive training in interstate and overseas for complex hepatobiliary and pancreas surgery and liver transplantation as well. I have referred multiple patients over the last 12 months and they have all returned with glowing remarks on his bedside manner, surgical results and just his overall demeanour.
