Dr Krishnan Parthasarathi

Dr Krishnan Parthasarathi is a highly qualified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. He is dedicated to delivering exceptional surgical outcomes with a compassionate and reassuring approach, ensuring that patients feel fully supported throughout their treatment journey. By combining advanced surgical expertise with state-of-the-art technology, such as virtual surgical planning and 3D printing, he delivers precise and tailored treatments to address a wide range of complex oral and facial conditions.

Dr Parthasarathi completed his Bachelor of Dental Science with Honours at the University of Melbourne, where he was awarded the Des Crack Memorial Prize. He subsequently earned his Medical Degree with Distinction from the University of Newcastle, receiving the Steele Douglas Prize. Following his medical and dental training, he completed four years of specialist training in Australia to obtain his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, FRACDS(OMS). To further refine his skills, he undertook prestigious post-CCT fellowship training in the United Kingdom, completing a Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) Surgery Fellowship at the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a General and Facial Deformity Fellowship in Nottingham. He was also awarded an Honorary Fellowship with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FDS RCS Ed).

His clinical practice encompasses a broad scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr Parthasarathi has a particular interest in the surgical management of obstructive sleep apnoea, corrective jaw surgery (orthognathic surgery), and complex dental implantology. In addition to his clinical work, he is actively involved in academic teaching, helping to train the next generation of Dental Specialists and Junior Surgeons. He is also dedicated to clinical research, having contributed numerous original research articles to leading peer-reviewed maxillofacial literature.
