Dr Kiran Sheikh

Dr Kiran Sheikh is a compassionate General Paediatrician who provides comprehensive, holistic care to infants, children, and adolescents. With a deep clinical interest in developmental and behavioural paediatrics, as well as parenting and parent-child relationships, she is committed to supporting families through every stage of a child's growth. Dr Sheikh focuses on the early identification and management of developmental risk factors, helping families maximise their children's potential and fostering nurturing relationships. Her clinical practice encompasses a broad range of general medical and developmental conditions, with a particular focus on supporting the social-emotional development of infants and young children.

Throughout her career, Dr Sheikh has gained extensive clinical experience working in major tertiary paediatric care centres, where she managed complex medical presentations. She has completed advanced training in infant mental health, focusing on the critical early years of physical, mental, and emotional development. Additionally, she has undertaken specialised training in child development and behaviour through leading international institutions. Dr Sheikh is also a registered facilitator of parenting programmes designed to enhance secure attachment between children and their caregivers, and she serves as a National Instructor for advanced paediatric life support.

Dr Sheikh holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) alongside a Bachelor of Science (BSc). She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH) in the United Kingdom. Furthermore, she maintains professional membership with the American Academy of Paediatrics, ensuring her practice remains aligned with global standards of paediatric care.
