Dr Kate Meredith is a dedicated and compassionate General Paediatrician who provides comprehensive medical care for infants, children, and adolescents. With a reassuring and patient-centred approach, she focuses on supporting families through all stages of a child's growth and development. Dr Meredith is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care, ensuring that both her young patients and their parents feel supported and informed throughout their healthcare journey.

In her clinical practice, Dr Meredith enjoys all aspects of General Paediatrics, with a particular interest in Neonatal Medicine and Developmental Paediatrics. Her expertise spans the management of acute and chronic childhood illnesses, developmental assessments, and neonatal care. She is highly skilled in addressing the unique medical needs of newborns and infants, working collaboratively with families to promote optimal health and developmental outcomes.

Dr Meredith completed her medical training at the University of Tasmania, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2010. Following her graduation, she undertook extensive postgraduate training in paediatric medicine across various regional hospitals. She was subsequently awarded a Fellowship of the Paediatric and Child Health Division of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP), reflecting her advanced expertise and commitment to the highest standards of paediatric care.
