Dr. Kate Borchard

Dr. Kate Borchard is a highly qualified Consultant Dermatologist who provides comprehensive care across all aspects of medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. With a patient-centred approach, she is dedicated to delivering ethical, high-quality treatment for a wide range of skin conditions. Her clinical expertise spans general dermatological concerns, advanced skin cancer management, and specialised surgical procedures, ensuring that patients receive tailored and reassuring care.

Dr. Borchard completed her Bachelor of Medical Science with Honours and her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honours at the University of Tasmania in 2003. She undertook her specialist dermatology training in Melbourne, Victoria, and was awarded the prestigious Travelling Fellowship in 2010 for being the most merit-worthy candidate in the Australasian College of Dermatologists Fellowship Examinations. She became a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 2011. Following this, she completed a highly specialised Fellowship in Mohs Surgery in June 2012. She is also an active Member of the American College of Mohs Surgery.

As a highly skilled Dermatologist, Dr. Borchard has a particular interest in Mohs micrographic surgery, a precise, tissue-sparing technique used for the highly accurate removal of skin cancers. Her clinical practice also encompasses the management of melanoma, photodynamic therapy, and general medical dermatology. Additionally, she offers cosmetic dermatological treatments, including the administration of Botox, helping patients achieve both healthy and rejuvenated skin.
