Dr Karen Veary

Dr Karen Veary is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is deeply invested in supporting the health and well-being of her local community. With a broad scope of practice in family medicine, she provides comprehensive, patient-centred care to individuals of all ages. Dr Veary is known for her thoughtful and empathetic approach, which allows her to build strong, trusting relationships with her patients.

Her clinical interests span a wide range of general practice services, with a particular focus on women's health, paediatrics, and counselling. Additionally, Dr Veary has advanced expertise in mental health, specifically in the assessment and management of ADHD and neurodiversity. She is accredited to provide Focussed Psychological Strategies and is passionate about establishing effective shared care pathways to support adults navigating ADHD and other neurodivergent conditions.

Dr Veary completed her medical education at Monash University, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1990. Committed to continuous professional development, she went on to obtain a Masters in Mental Health in 2012. She is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, reflecting her high standards of clinical excellence and dedication to the field of General Practice.
