Dr Emma Hattle

Dr Emma Hattle is a UK-trained General Practitioner with a special interest in Women’s Health. She graduated from medical school in Norwich in 2009 and initially completed two years of training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology before moving into General Practice.

Dr Hattle is particularly passionate about supporting women through different life stages. Her areas of focus include gynaecology, menopause management, contraception, unplanned pregnancy care (MS-2-Step prescriber), and shared maternity care at the Royal Women's Hospital. She is skilled in the insertion and removal of contraceptive intrauterine devices (Mirena, Kyleena and copper IUD) and contraceptive implants. She also provides iron infusions, cervical screening, sexual health screening and general preventative care.

Dr Hattle practises from South Melbourne Medical Hub. She lives in Melbourne with her husband and three children and enjoys the outdoor lifestyle Australia has to offer. She enjoys keeping active, the coffee and culinary delights of Melbourne and exploring Australia.
