Dr Jessie Chen

Dr Jessie Chen is a highly qualified Consultant Neurologist who provides comprehensive care for patients experiencing a wide range of neurological conditions. With a patient-centred approach, she is dedicated to diagnosing and managing complex disorders of the nervous system. Her clinical focus encompasses general neurology, with a particular emphasis on neurophysiology, neuroimmunology, and neuromuscular medicine. She is committed to delivering reassuring, evidence-based care to help patients navigate their neurological health journeys.

Dr Chen obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honours, alongside a Bachelor of Medical Science, from the University of Melbourne, qualifying in 2012. Following her primary medical education, she undertook extensive specialist training in Neurology at prominent metropolitan health services. She subsequently completed advanced subspecialty fellowship training in Clinical Neurophysiology and Neuroimmunology at leading tertiary referral hospitals in Victoria and New South Wales. Dr Chen is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and is fully accredited to provide Level 2 Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS) and Electromyography (EMG) services to evaluate muscle and nerve function.

In her clinical practice, Dr Chen manages a diverse spectrum of neurological disorders, including multiple sclerosis and chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP). Her expertise in neurophysiology allows her to perform precise diagnostic testing, which is essential for the accurate assessment of neuromuscular conditions.
