Dr Jason Hwang

Dr Jason Hwang is a highly qualified Consultant Gastroenterologist practising in Auchenflower, Australia. He specialises in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders, with a particular subspeciality interest in therapeutic and interventional endoscopy. Dr Hwang is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centred care, ensuring that individuals receive comprehensive and reassuring support throughout their medical journey.

Dr Hwang completed his Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Queensland, qualifying in 2005. He subsequently undertook extensive clinical and research training in gastroenterology both within Australia and internationally. To further refine his expertise, he completed a fellowship in interventional endoscopy at a major tertiary hospital in Brisbane, followed by an additional twelve-month fellowship at a world-renowned advanced therapeutic endoscopy centre in Toronto, Canada.
