Professional, caring, explained things clearly, thanks!
★★★★★ 5 Stars I recently saw Dr Silvia Vigh, Gastroenterologist, for both a consultation and an Upper GI endoscopy, and I cannot speak highly enough of the care I received. Dr Vigh is exceptionally kind, caring, and thorough, taking the time to listen and explain everything clearly. From the first appointment through to the day procedure, I felt completely comfortable, well‑supported, and confident in her skill and expertise. Her calm and reassuring manner made what could have been a stressful experience feel straightforward and manageable. Dr Vigh is truly a specialist of the highest calibre, and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone seeking exceptional gastroenterological care.
Who is this Dr Sylvia? She smiled at me as I went into theatre and checked that I knew what I was having, Then after the procedure asked that I see my GP for results. In her written report she suggested I try a FODMAP diet. Had I been able to have a consult with her, she would have found out that I had been on a FODMAP diet for the six months preceding the procedure. Not convinced that she really knew anything about me …
Very clear and precise information beforehand and printed results easy to follow
I have been seeing Dr Vigh for well over 10 years since being diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease. My last visit was via tele-health as I live outside of Brisbane. During this video phone call, we discussed how I had been feeling and what problems I was having. She sent a new pain relief prescription to my phone. She also organized my special PBS medication prescription and arranged to send that to my pharmacist. In addition, we agreed that I should have a follow up colonoscopy and she organized for her staff to call me about setting my next appointment date. Dr Vigh never rushes through my appointments with her and I feel very comfortable in trusting her with my well being.
I was in for a follow up endoscopy. After the procedure I was advised everything was looking significantly better and the medication I was on I could go back to taking once every second day
My check up at Springfield Mater went really well, the staff were very professional and the treatment was excellent and efficient
Dr Vigh was very informative and plesant in her rooms though very disengaged in the hospital. I had no contact with her except for a brief feedback after the procedure and when I was wheeled into the theatre room she did not acknoledge I was there as she was on her phone.
Dr Sylvia Vigh is a brilliant and lovely doctor and I feel safe in her expert hands. I have had two procedures as her patient and if required again, she would be my first choice and I happily highly recommend her.
I am really happy with procedure of colonoscopy with Dr vigh team Before no fear and after no side effects 👌
