Dr Janet Kim

Dr Janet Kim is a highly qualified Consultant Dermatologist dedicated to providing comprehensive care for a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions. Based in Western Australia, she offers expert consultations for all general dermatological concerns, with a particular focus on skin cancer detection and management, eczema, psoriasis, acne, and hyperhidrosis. Dr Kim is committed to delivering patient-centred, evidence-based treatments, ensuring that each individual receives a personalised management plan tailored to their unique dermatological needs.

Dr Kim completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Western Australia, graduating with Honours in 2011. She subsequently undertook extensive specialist training across several major teaching hospitals in South Australia and the Northern Territory. In 2020, she achieved her specialist qualification and was admitted as a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. To further expand her clinical expertise, Dr Kim was awarded the prestigious Florence Bequest Grant, which enabled her to complete advanced clinical observerships at leading international dermatology departments in Seoul, South Korea, and New York, USA.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Kim is actively involved in the advancement of dermatological science. She has authored and reviewed peer-reviewed articles for the Australasian Journal of Dermatology, contributing to the broader medical community's understanding of complex skin conditions. Dr Kim has also dedicated her time to voluntary medical work both locally and internationally, reflecting her compassionate approach to healthcare.
