Dr Erin McMeniman

Dr Erin McMeniman is a specialist dermatologist, academic researcher, and Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists (FACD). She holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc), a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), a Master of Public Health (MPH), and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) focused on genotypic and phenotypic correlations in patients with multiple primary melanoma.

Her clinical practice focuses on complex medical dermatology, cutaneous lymphoma, and chronic auto-inflammatory conditions, with nationally recognised expertise in hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) management and deroofing surgery. She conducts medical dermatology clinics and participates in multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) for cutaneous lymphoma and hidradenitis suppurativa at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, while also practicing privately at Central Brisbane Dermatology.

A prominent clinical educator and advocate, she serves as Chair of the Queensland Faculty of the Australasian College of Dermatologists and an Associate Professor at the University of Queensland Medical School, driving national initiatives in patient care, indigenous skin health, and medical education.
