Dr Ernest Lim

Mr Ernest Kah-Seong Lim is an experienced laparoscopic and general surgeon with extensive expertise in weight loss surgery, endocrine surgery, general surgery, and endoscopy. He received his General Surgery Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2001, and completed further training in Endocrine Surgery in Canterbury, England, and Laparoscopic/Bariatric Surgery in Hull, East Yorkshire, England. He was also a clinical lecturer in Surgery at Hull Royal Infirmary. 

Mr Lim is a member of the Australia and New Zealand Metabolic and Obesity Surgery Society (ANZMOSS) and the International Association of Endocrine Surgeons (IAES). He currently serves as an Honorary Fellow of the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences at the University of Melbourne. 

Mr Lim consults at Suite 32, 240 Plenty Road, University Hill, Bundoora and at Suite 2.1, 173 Lennox St, Richmond. He operates privately at Epworth Richmond, Epworth Eastern, Warringal, and Northpark Private Hospitals. In addition to his private practice, Mr Lim works in public in the Endocrine and Upper GI Unit at Northern Health, Epping. He is dedicated to providing his patients with the highest quality of care and is committed to educating the next generation of surgeons.
