Dr. Radha Nair is a highly skilled surgeon with a diverse background in medicine and surgery. He pursued his medical education in India and went on to achieve surgical fellowships in both India and the United Kingdom. In 2012, he assumed the role of Senior Consultant Surgeon at Alice Springs Hospital in the Northern Territory, and earned his fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS).

His surgical expertise covers a wide range of areas, including trauma surgery, laparoscopic procedures, thyroid surgery, breast surgery, and emergency vascular interventions such as hernia repair, gallbladder removal, varicose vein treatment, and skin lesion management.

Since March 2019, Dr. Nair has held the position of Head of Unit of Surgery at CGHS in Sale. He also plays a crucial role as a teacher and guide for gastroscopy and colonoscopy, performing various interventions such as polyp removal, banding of haemorrhoids, GI bleed management, endovariceal banding, and PEG tube insertion.

Dr. Nair is actively involved in medical organisations and is a member of Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA), the Academy of Surgical Educators of RACS, and the Surgical Oncology of RACS. Additionally, he mentors surgical trainees of RACS and is credentialed for the Gippsland Breast Unit. Dr. Nair is an active participant in GRICS, a multidisciplinary team focused on cancer care.
