Dr Erin Wilson

Dr Erin Wilson is a highly dedicated Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who is passionate about delivering compassionate, patient-centred care. Understanding that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to women's health, she strives to understand and satisfy the unique needs and goals of each individual. Dr Wilson truly enjoys engaging with her patients, helping to make a meaningful difference in their lives through supportive and personalised medical guidance.

With a broad range of clinical interests, Dr Wilson specialises in both general and complex gynaecological care. She has extensive experience in managing menstrual concerns, persistent pelvic pain, and abnormal cervical screening results. Her areas of expertise also encompass advanced laparoscopy, colposcopy, endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and vulval disorders. Additionally, she is deeply committed to young adults' gynaecology and has a strong interest in perinatal mental health, advocating for comprehensive support for expectant and new mothers.

Dr Wilson completed her medical training in Queensland, obtaining a Bachelor of Science, a Bachelor of Medicine, and a Bachelor of Surgery. She furthered her academic pursuits by earning a Doctor of Philosophy, focusing her research on surgical simulation and training. Dr Wilson is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Alongside her clinical practice, she serves as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland and is an active member of the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy and Surgery Society.
