Dr. Elliot Long

Dr. Elliot Long is a Consultant Paediatric and Emergency Medicine Physician with many years of experience in the management of acute paediatric illnesses, and practices at KidsDocOnCall.

Dr. Long earned his primary medical qualification at Flinders University in 2000 and went on to gain a Critical Care Fellowship at the British Columbia Children's Hospital, Canada. He then returned to Melbourne to complete his specialist paediatric training at the Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne, where he was later appointed Consultant. Dr. Long also completed his Ph.D. in Paediatric infections and specialises in differentiating between mild and severe cases of infections in his practices.

With two young children, Dr. Long values the honest moments that arise with child patients and understands the hardships families with sick children may face. This understanding allows Dr. Long to provide a high standard of care to his patients and their families, that they can rely on.
