Dr Elizabeth Tilse

Dr Elizabeth Tilse is a dedicated and compassionate General Paediatrician who provides comprehensive medical care for children from birth through to adolescence. Believing in a holistic, family-centred approach, she works closely with parents and carers to support each child's physical, emotional, and developmental growth. Dr Tilse is committed to helping families navigate the complexities of childhood health, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

With a broad range of clinical interests, Dr Tilse manages the full spectrum of paediatric issues, from general health concerns to acute medical conditions. She has a particular interest in child development, neonatology, and supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Additionally, she is highly experienced in child protection and supporting vulnerable families, and she is currently completing advanced training to achieve a dual speciality in developmental and behavioural paediatrics.

Dr Tilse completed her Bachelor of Science in 2001 and Honours in Psychology in 2002 at The University of Queensland, where she first developed her passion for child development. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 2009 from the same institution, followed by a Master of Public Health and Tropical Medicine from James Cook University in 2018. She completed her specialist paediatric training across several major tertiary and regional hospitals in Queensland, achieving her Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2020. Dr Tilse is also an active member of the Neurodevelopmental and Behavioural Paediatric Society of Australasia, regularly attending conferences to keep her practice aligned with the latest medical advancements.
