Dr Oehme isn't the first doctor I consulted regarding my condition, but I'm so glad I did. All my doubts and worries have been addressed and he is very knowledgeable in his craft. My life is back to normal.

Meeting Mr Oehme to discuss my ongoing back issues and constant pain was the best decision I could have made. From the moment I met him, I instantly felt at ease and comfortable. His bedside manner is exceptional. When he speaks with you, he looks directly at you and explains everything in a way that is easy to understand. He is highly professional, yet still happy to share a laugh when appropriate. His office staff are also among the very best. Nothing is ever a problem for them, and they are always prompt and helpful when providing information or assistance. I cannot express enough how truly wonderful Mr Oehme is — a genuine gentleman who is caring, understanding, and dedicated to his patients. David's approach instilled strong confidence in his expertise and ability. This was very comforting. He was kind and gently personable. Post op has been progressing very well. Now at the 3 mth point, I'm keen to move onto the next phase of recovery. I have ans will not hesitate in recommending him to others. His staff were brilliant too.

Had a recent x-ray to see how the placement went, Dr Oehme reviewed it and his nurse rand me today saying Dr Oehme was very happy with everything as I am also, no more pain!

The best surgeon going around

I had spinal fusion and decompression of L4 L5 almost 6 months ago and it has changed my life for the better in every way. From the very first visit I was impressed with how good a listener Dr Oehme was, but he didn't just listen he understood my challenges. Dr Oehme reviewed my MRI with me, explaining and describing what was present and how each aspect was relevant to my symptoms. Dr Oehme then went through a list of options for treatment and explained why he made a certain recommendation. I was not pressured in any way. I was given an excellent overview of any risks. From Day 1 post surgery I have had a phenomenal recovery. I am symptom free. When I move I no longer spend time trying to find ways of describing my symtoms...this used to take up so much space in my brain. This surgery has ensured I can continue to work, pay my rent, be productive and independent! Most importantly I have now lost weight, returned to regular exercise and am enjoying a sense of well being and content with my body. I am a 67 year old female. DR Oehme has significantly improved and positively enhanced the trajectory of my aging and I am so very very appreciative!!!
