Dr Daniel Mccormick

Dr Daniel Mccormick is a highly qualified Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon and Otolaryngologist based in Tasmania. He provides comprehensive care for both adult and paediatric patients, addressing a wide range of conditions affecting the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. With a patient-centred approach, Dr Mccormick is dedicated to delivering reassuring, evidence-based medical and surgical care to help patients achieve optimal health outcomes.

Dr Mccormick completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honours at the University of Tasmania in 2006. Following his initial medical training, he relocated to Victoria to pursue specialist surgical training. He completed his specialist training in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, rotating through major metropolitan hospitals to gain comprehensive experience in general, paediatric, and specialist ENT procedures. In 2015, he was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

Throughout his career, Dr Mccormick has developed a strong clinical interest in rhinology, paediatric ENT, and head and neck oncology. He has gained extensive experience working within multidisciplinary cancer teams to manage complex head and neck cancers, including those of the skin, salivary glands, thyroid, and aerodigestive tract. His clinical practice encompasses a broad spectrum of treatments, ranging from managing common paediatric concerns like tonsil and ear infections to performing advanced endoscopic sinus surgery and addressing complex breathing, snoring, and sleep apnoea issues.
