Dr Catherine Black

Dr Catherine Black is a highly qualified Dermatologist who provides comprehensive care for a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions. She is dedicated to delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care, addressing both medical and cosmetic concerns. Her clinical expertise spans general dermatology, including the management of acne, psoriasis, eczema, and hair loss, as well as advanced cosmetic and surgical interventions. Dr Black is particularly interested in skin cancer management, offering both surgical and non-surgical treatment pathways, alongside specialised treatments for hyperhidrosis.

Dr Black completed her medical degree with honours at Flinders University, having previously graduated with first-class honours in biochemistry from Adelaide University. She undertook her rigorous dermatology speciality training across several major teaching and tertiary hospitals. She is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists and an active Member of the Australasian Society of Cosmetic Dermatologists. Throughout her undergraduate and postgraduate training, she was the recipient of numerous academic prizes and awards.
