Dr. Caitlin Bishop

Dr. Caitlin Bishop is a dedicated Clinical Psychologist who brings warmth, genuineness, and collaboration to her therapeutic practice. With a professional background spanning clinical, research, and educational settings, Dr. Bishop focuses on providing affirming and respectful care to clients from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Her clinical work is largely focused on supporting young people and their families, offering tailored psychological support to children aged seven and older, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Bishop assists clients experiencing a broad range of mental health difficulties, including anxiety, mood disorders, eating issues, and relationship challenges. When working with younger clients, she recognises the vital importance of collaborating closely with parents and wider support networks to ensure comprehensive care both within and outside of therapy sessions.

Dr. Bishop holds a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours and a Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology. As a recognised Cognitive Analytic Therapy Practitioner, she integrates this specialised modality with other evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
