Jasmine Zhang

Jasmine Zhang is a provisional psychologist known for her empathetic, warm, and supportive approach. With a background in medicine, she initially gained extensive clinical experience as a physician in China before relocating to Australia, where she redirected her focus to psychology and counselling. Jasmine earned a Graduate Diploma in Psychology and a Master’s in Counselling from Monash University, and she is now a registered counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association.

Throughout her ten-year career, Jasmine has built diverse expertise across hospital settings—including emergency, paediatrics, and internal medicine—as well as in aged care and the education sector, where she served as a VCE course coordinator and teaching administrator. In her counselling practice, she provides tailored support to children (ages 6-12), adults, and couples, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, stress management, and trauma. Embracing a person-centred counselling philosophy, she integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Schema Therapy, and Gottman’s Couple Therapy to empower her clients to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and inner strength.
