Dr Andrew Philpott

Dr Andrew Philpott is a highly qualified Cardiologist and Interventional Cardiologist who provides comprehensive cardiovascular care. He has a dedicated clinical focus on managing complex cardiac conditions, with particular expertise in ischaemic heart disease, hypertension, and heart failure. Dr Philpott is committed to delivering patient-centred care, ensuring that individuals receive tailored treatment plans designed to optimise their long-term cardiovascular health and well-being.

Dr Philpott completed his undergraduate medical degree at the University of Adelaide. He subsequently undertook extensive postgraduate physician and specialist training in South Australia, culminating in being awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Cardiology in 2001. To further refine his clinical skills, he completed advanced fellowship training in coronary angioplasty at the University of Calgary in Canada, where he also engaged in clinical research focusing on endothelial function and coronary stent outcomes.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Philpott has a strong background in cardiovascular research and academic medicine. He has conducted significant research into cardiac pharmacology and has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications in international medical journals.
