Dr Alp Atik

Dr Alp Atik is a highly accomplished, dual-fellowship-trained Ophthalmologist who specialises in advanced cataract and glaucoma care. Dedicated to providing evidence-based, patient-centred care, he focuses on delivering tailored treatment plans that optimise visual outcomes and enhance his patients' quality of life. Dr Atik is highly skilled in performing complex cataract surgeries, managing various stages of glaucoma, and administering specialised laser therapies and eye injections.

Dr Atik completed his undergraduate medical training with First-Class Honours and Distinction at the University of Newcastle. He went on to obtain a Master of Medicine in Ophthalmic Science from the University of Sydney, followed by a Master of Public Health from Harvard University. To further refine his clinical expertise, he completed two prestigious sub-specialty fellowships in glaucoma and complex cataract surgery, including advanced training at a leading eye hospital in Melbourne and a highly regarded institution in the United States. Dr Atik is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists and a member of the Australian and New Zealand Glaucoma Society.
