Dr Abhisheik Prashar

Dr Abhisheik Prashar is an Interventional, Structural, and General Cardiologist. They are a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). Dr Prashar has undertaken advanced sub-specialty training in coronary and structural heart interventions at a number of prestigious institutions.

Their clinical focus spans general and interventional cardiology, including chest pain assessment, coronary angioplasty, percutaneous coronary intervention, and advanced coronary calcium modification. Their expertise extends to intravascular imaging with IVUS and OCT. Dr Prashar specialises in the management of patients with valvular heart diseases, utilising cutting-edge techniques such as transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) and transcatheter edge-to-edge-repair (TEER) for mitral and tricuspid regurgitation.

They are also proficient in patent foramen ovale closure, atrial septal defect and left atrial appendage occlusion.
