Dr Matthew Kodsi

Dr Matthew Kodsi is a Consultant Cardiologist with subspecialty expertise in advanced cardiac imaging, including echocardiography and cardiac CT. He is known for combining detailed diagnostic imaging with a patient-centred, evidence-based approach to cardiovascular care.

He graduated with an MBBS from Bond University, where he received multiple Dean’s Awards for academic excellence throughout his final years of study. He then completed Basic Physician Training at Westmead Hospital, achieving the highest possible score in the RACP Divisional Clinical Examination long cases.

Dr Kodsi subsequently undertook Cardiology Advanced Training at Westmead Hospital and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2024. Following this, he completed a dedicated Advanced Cardiac Imaging Fellowship at the same institution.

His fellowship training provided advanced expertise in:

• Transthoracic echocardiography
• Transoesophageal echocardiography (TOE)
• Stress echocardiography
• Cardiac CT imaging

Dr Kodsi currently consults at Complete Health Australia and Rosedale Medical Practice.

His clinical interests include heart failure, valvular heart disease, and early detection of cardiovascular conditions through advanced imaging. He is particularly focused on using high-resolution diagnostic techniques to guide timely and individualised treatment plans.
