Dr Zeyad Shaker

Dr Zeyad Shaker is a Dentist specialised in Periodontics based in Bristol at Queen Square Dental Clinic and The Dental Clinic Portishead.

He graduated from Kuwait University in 2013 with dual bachelor's degrees in Medical Sciences and Dental Medicine. Following his initial training he later moved to the UK and was awarded his Membership with the Faculty of Dental Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2018. He went on to complete 3 years of advanced training in periodontics at the University of Sheffield and was awarded his Membership in Periodontics by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, alongside his Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry in Periodontics from the University of Sheffield in 2020. He was awarded his Fellowship with the Higher Education Academy in 2022.

Dr Shaker has expertise in the treatment and management of gum disease and peri-implantitis. Alongside his clinical work, he is a passionate teacher and educator and in his role as Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Bristol's restorative dentistry department, Dr Shaker enjoys sharing his expertise with fellow clinicians. Dr Shaker is also a Member of the British Society of Periodontology.
