Mr Wee Sim Khor

On referral it was not too long before my procedure the results were positive and my follow up appointment was quick and was seen early at my appointment

I had a thum joint replacement last September. I was the oldest patient Mr Khor had undertaken this operation on. Everything went very well including Physio with Leanne. Today Mr Khor said he could possibly have used a larger joint, but due to my bones being soft didn’t want to chance it. He has given me an open appointment for twelve Months in case I have any problems. My hand at the moment couldn’t be better

Mr Khor was very informative on how to ease my scar tissue. He has been a pleasure to have as my consultant from my initial consultation through to my aftercare. Excellent service.

Mr Khor performed a tendon transfer from 1st finger to thumb to give opposition. It was a restorative procedure a year after emergency surgery by others to repair twndon, artery and nerve following cicular saw injury. Couple of hours, general, 4 incisions and a few weeks in a brace followed by physio. The procedure was very successful in all respects. However, I feel there was and remains a lack of communication and team work between surgeon and physio, even between physio teams. Im still not clear which tendon does what, and how to activate it, all I know is it seems to work. Further surgery was offered but I declined. Time to move on.

Mr Khor is pleasant, patient and reasuring. He has a calm manner which makes you feel relaxed and confident that he is capable of fullfilling what he has advised should be done. He treats with respect in his speech and actions. . I would give him fulk marks
