Mr Warwick Chan

Mr Warwick Chan is a highly regarded Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Norwich, specialising in the comprehensive management of knee conditions. He provides expert care using both surgical and non-surgical techniques, tailoring each treatment plan to the individual needs of his patients. His clinical practice is particularly focused on advanced knee procedures, including robotic-assisted knee surgery, total and partial knee replacements, and soft tissue reconstructions.

With a commitment to delivering optimal patient outcomes, Mr Chan is highly trained in utilising state-of-the-art technology, such as Mako robotic-assisted surgery, to enhance the precision of knee replacements. His expertise also extends to sports medicine, where he treats complex soft tissue and ligament injuries, including anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstructions and meniscal or cartilage repairs. He has a busy clinical practice and is recognised for his excellent patient-reported outcomes on the National Joint Registry.

Mr Chan completed his undergraduate medical training at the University of Cambridge, graduating with his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB BChir) in 2005, followed by a Master of Arts (MA) in 2007. He completed his specialist orthopaedic training on the prestigious East Anglian rotation, during which he was awarded the Trinity prize for the overall best trainee. He achieved his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Trauma and Orthopaedics (FRCS Tr & Orth) in 2015. To further refine his skills, he undertook advanced, high-volume knee fellowships both locally and internationally in Adelaide, South Australia. He is an active member of the medical community, having served as a Deputy Clinical Director and as the Secretary of the Cambridge Trauma and Orthopaedic Club.
