Brilliant service very knowledgeable and helpful

Dr Sawhney was excellent - she allowed me to explain the background to my AF experience and was appreciative of the ECG results I had recorded on my phone. Her explanation of the process, likely caused of SF, the results at that point and the options for treatment with associated risks were very clear. Subsequently we discussed my echocardiogram and I was pleased that my heart is in general good condition and we need to focus on the ablation.

Dr. Vinit Sawhney is an great cardiologist. I came to her complaining of a racing heart, and she was incredibly attentive, through, and made sure I felt well cared for.

I had a very positive experience with Dr Sawhney. She was clear, professional and reassuring throughout the appointment, and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. She quickly put together a sensible plan for the next steps and investigations needed to work out what may be causing my symptoms. I left the appointment feeling confident that things were being taken seriously and handled thoroughly.

Dr Sawhney was very understanding, she is a very good listener and helps us to understand what’s going on thoroughly and asks the right questions so she’s absolutely certain of things herself. She was very quick to offer an appointment and was empathetic too. No one likes a diagnosis of any kind but a patient like me who absolutely hates uncertainty, Dr Sawhney was very good at giving me everything I needed to walk away with knowledge and a plan in place. I would like to express my sincere thanks for the excellent care I received from the consultant who carried out my ablation procedure. Dr Sawhney was approachable and reassuring throughout. On the morning of the procedure, she explained exactly what would happen, which helped me feel informed and at ease. Afterwards, she also took the time to come and speak with me in a friendly and thoughtful way, explaining the next steps clearly. I had no problems with the wound, which after 24 hours was little more than a pin prick, with very little bruising. This reflected the high standard of care and skill I experienced throughout. Dr Sawhney is clearly a skilled consultant, but what stood out to me just as much was her kind, caring and personable approach. Her approachable manner, clinical expertise and caring attitude had a very positive impact on me. I am sure she is a highly valued member of the cardiac team at Barts. I would not hesitate in recommending her to anyone who is having this procedure which has had such a positive effect on my life.

Went to Dr Sawhney after a stroke and she gave all the information I needed on the stroke and whether I need an appellation.

Dr Vinit Sawhney was very thorough in dealing with my case and based on the findings there was no stone left un turned. There is still a follow up needed based on the latest MRI scan which is happening on Wednesday 26th August. Peter O
