Dr Umar Wali is a highly skilled Consultant Trauma and Emergency General Surgeon who dedicatedly provides comprehensive surgical care for patients facing urgent and complex conditions. Specialising in General Surgery, he brings exceptional technical expertise and a reassuring, compassionate approach to critical clinical situations. Dr Wali focuses on delivering prompt, high-quality surgical care tailored to each patient's immediate medical needs.

His clinical focus encompasses a wide range of acute general surgical conditions, with key expertise in trauma team leadership, acute general surgery, and damage control surgery. Dr Wali is experienced in leading multidisciplinary teams through high-pressure emergency surgical scenarios to achieve optimal patient outcomes. His professional expertise extends to pre-hospital trauma management, where he provides high-level medical leadership and emergency care in demanding environments.

Dr Wali earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from St George's Medical School at the University of London, qualifying in 2009. He completed his Higher Specialist Training on the London rotation and gained entry onto the Specialist Register. In 2018, he achieved Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS). Alongside his clinical work, Dr Wali is a nationally recognised surgical educator who trains medical professionals and surgical trainees in advanced trauma techniques. He remains an active Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
