Dr Trisha Vasanthi Vigneswaran

Dr Trisha Vasanthi Vigneswaran is an accomplished Consultant Paediatric Cardiologist and Consultant Foetal Cardiologist who provides comprehensive cardiac care for unborn babies, infants, and children. Serving as a clinical lead in foetal cardiology, she specialises in diagnosing and managing complex congenital heart conditions from early gestation through childhood. Her patient-centred approach ensures that expectant parents and families receive clear guidance, empathetic support, and tailored treatment strategies throughout every stage of diagnostic evaluation and care.

Dr Vigneswaran earned her Bachelor of Science with Honours in Cardiovascular Science and Medicine from Imperial College London in 2000, followed by her medical degree with honours from the same institution in 2003. She subsequently completed extensive specialist postgraduate training in general paediatrics, paediatric cardiology, and foetal cardiology across renowned tertiary medical centres. She became a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in 2006.

In her clinical practice, Dr Vigneswaran manages a wide spectrum of cardiac conditions, including foetal heart anomalies, aortic arch malformations, vascular rings, heart rhythm abnormalities, and heart murmurs. She utilises advanced non-invasive diagnostic techniques, such as early foetal echocardiography and maternal hyperoxygenation testing, to evaluate foetal heart structure, assess cardiac function, and plan perinatal management. Beyond direct patient care, Dr Vigneswaran is actively involved in clinical research and postgraduate education, regularly contributing to international medical literature to advance cardiac outcomes for young patients.
