Dr Thomas Charlton is a dedicated Consultant Clinical Oncologist who specialises in the diagnosis and management of urological cancers, with a primary clinical focus on prostate cancer. He provides compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to individual patient needs, ensuring every patient receives a personalised treatment plan. Dr Charlton is committed to maintaining high standards of clinical excellence while maintaining a supportive and reassuring environment for patients navigating a cancer diagnosis.

In his clinical practice, Dr Charlton utilises state-of-the-art radiotherapy techniques and systemic therapies to achieve the best possible outcomes for his patients. His areas of expertise encompass advanced radiation delivery modalities, including intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT), and stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), such as CyberKnife technology. In addition to delivering radical treatments for localised and advanced prostate disease, he offers systemic treatments and palliative radiotherapy to manage symptoms and improve quality of life.

Dr Charlton earned his medical degree with distinction alongside a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) from Imperial College London.
