Dear Priory Hospital Chelmsford Team,

Having completed the 28-day Addiction Treatment Programme, I would like to express my sincere thanks to Alex, Neil, Michael, Sue and Dee for their support and the considerable contribution they have made to my recovery.

Coming from a medical practitioner background, I can understand the physiological effects of addiction and the toll it takes on the body. Understanding and working through its psychological aspects has been much more difficult for me. This is where the therapy team really came into their own.

Each of you brings a different style and perspective to therapy. I learnt so much from those differences, with each approach helping me understand something more about myself, my addiction and the changes I need to make. Together, you offered a depth of support that I greatly appreciated.

I was particularly grateful for the experiences and insights you shared. These helped me feel less alone and gave me hope that recovery is possible, even when the way forward feels uncertain.

I left the programme with a better understanding of myself and renewed hope for the future. There is still work ahead, but I will carry what I have learnt from you into the next stage of my recovery.

Thank you, Alex, Neil, Michael, Sue and Dee, for your care, honesty and commitment. You have made a meaningful difference to my life.

My daughter was incredibly nervous about the video assessment, and at one point I genuinely thought she wouldn’t even feel comfortable showing her face. However, Dr Moharam was absolutely wonderful and made her feel so relaxed, settled and at ease that she was able to participate fully. As a parent, that meant the world to me. Having experienced such kindness and understanding, I would 100% recommend Dr Moharam and wouldn’t hesitate to use her services again
