Mr Sujit Agarwal

Mr Sujit Agarwal is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialising in knee and hip surgery. He treats patients with conditions such as osteoarthritis and with hip pain and knee pain.
He is a high volume surgeon and routinely performs the full range of knee and hip surgeries including total hip replacement, partial (Unicompartment knee replacement) and total knee replacement, knee osteotomy and realignment surgery, knee arthroscopy and meniscus surgery. Mr Agarwal also offers Knee injections including steroid and Arthrosamid injections. He has extensive experience in these procedures with excellent outcomes and positive patient feedback.

Mr Agarwal's NHS practice is mainly based at the Midlands Metropolitan University Hospital in Birmingham, West Midlands. Mr Agarwal achieved his initial medical qualification in 2000 followed by higher surgical training in the United Kingdom. Following this, he was awarded his research and clinical fellowship in Sydney, Australia, which allowed him to develop expertise in knee and hip arthroplasty, including Minimally Invasive Hip Replacement, Robotic Knee and Hip Replacement and navigation surgery.

Mr Agarwal has been a surgical tutor for the Royal College of Surgeons and contiunes to be a Surgical trainer. He pursues a research interest and has published multiple papers in international journals. He holds a number of professional memberships including the British Association for Surgeons of the Knee, British Hip Society, British Orthopaedic Association, and the British Patellofemoral Society.
